Fan of "catch all" email addresses? Unsya.com is here to help you unsubscribe now.

Help

Basic operation

This is all over the site, but let's go again:

You use either "catch all" email addresses, or you use youraddress+somethingextra@gmail.com to subscribe to newsletters and registring to forums and whatnot. Now that you want to unsubscribe, you need to send messages using the same specific email address you used to subscribe to the service. What do you do? Either reconfigure your email program, or come to Unsya.com.

To start the process, enter the special email address you used to subscribe in the first field, the unsubscribe address of the list on the second one, subject and body of the message on the next two fields and a response to the antispam field. Once you did that, the system will send you a link you have to click to certify ownership of the email address you're trying to unsubscribe. Click on it and that's it, Unsya.com sends the message for you, saving you from the reconfiguration chores.

What if?

I've completed the process, but I keep receiving emails from the newsletter I want to unsubscribe from! Well, this is tricky. Not all senders are really ethical and there are some newsletter publishers who will not honor your unsubscribe request. Just block/filter 'em and forget about 'em.

I'm not receiving the confirmation email. First, please make sure the message isn't stored in the "Junk Email" folder. If you find it there, please use the "This is not spam" feature of your email service to avoid missing future messages. Try adding request[ @ ]unsya.com (delete square brackets and spaces) to your address book.

From here you can go back or go home.

Useful stuff

You can use this service to send an email from any address you own, but don't want to configure on your email program.

To avoid the service being taken advantage of, you'll receive a link to your email address, which you'll have to click to confirm you own the address.
